Landscape photography workshops on the Yorkshire Coast

In the summer of 2014 I delivered a number of landscape photography workshops on the Yorkshire Coast. Saltwick Bay near Whitby, and the more remote Boulby Cliffs, have again proved to be ideal locations for teaching, and for giving us the opportunity to create some fabulous images. I thought I would share some of those experiences and some of those images here....

 Boulby Cliffs

Boulby never ceases to amaze me, and never ceases to provide powerful images. Reputedly the burial place of Beowolf, Boulby has the most incredible sandstone architecture on its Upper Tier, and below, a very rich source of colours and textures in its alum shales....
