My apologies for not posting much news recently ~ a house move into the Esk Valley in the heart of the North York Moors National Park, then Christmas, then New Year.... then an intense period of photography over the last two weeks of cold and snowy weather.... all have got in the way of posting news...

Here in the North York Moors we have had lying snow for the last two weeks with several falls of snow and nightime lows of minus twelve C. Accessing some of the more remote areas has been the usual problem.... lots of postholing through knee deep snow. Yesterday I had Danby Rigg and the whole of Danby High Moor to myself during a six hour round trip under blue skies.
